Writing Improver
Rewrite technical writing already on screen without leaving the current tool or losing context.
What it does
Writing Improver tightens PR descriptions, issue reports, comments, notes, and other technical prose that already exists on the user's screen.
Input
- visible technical writing in the screen capture
- the spoken instruction, such as "make this clearer" or "rewrite this for reviewers"
- the active mode selection
Output
- a short spoken framing of the rewrite
- a markdown card listing the key issues in the original text
- a copyable rewritten version ready to paste
- an optional clarifying question when audience or purpose is unclear
Why it is useful
Technical writing often breaks flow because it demands an editorial pass at the exact moment a developer wants to keep moving. This mode gives that editorial pass without forcing the text into another app.
Current implementation intentionally does not do
- long-form document editing across multiple pages
- tone libraries or organization-specific style guides
- tracked diffs against the source application
- broad knowledge-base generation
